So first introductions, My name is Sinda Horrocks and my Husband is Dave Horrocks. We met in June 2008 and got married May 2009. So we have been married 5 1/2 years and now have 2 handsome boys. I am a stay at home mom and I could not be happier with my decision to do so. I do the run of the mill stay at home mom duties; playing with kids, feeding kids, changing kids, running errands, doing shopping, cleaning the house and making dinner. I certainly understand why this may not seem like a dream job to some, but it is my dream and I love it.
Dave is a professional Photographer and just recently opened his own studio. The adventures that have come along with that have been many and have been good and bad. But we take each day as it comes and we rely on our Heavenly Father to get us through it. Dave is also going to school for a Bachelors in the Arts with an emphasis in Photography and a minor in Art History. He is on track to graduate in spring 2015 and we are very excited for that day. Dave is also an amazing Father. Dean sure can't get enough of him. The boys both love him very much and he is so good with them.
Dean is our oldest child. He just turned two on October 22 and he just brings so much adventure to our lives. He has the obvious traits that most 2 year old's have. Throwing tantrums, not communicating what they want, running away from you when you tell them to come here, crying when YOU do something wrong(like breaking something in half for them to eat, how dare I help) and not wanting to nap or go to bed(he is actually crying at this moment because he does not want to nap, life is just too interesting for sleep). Ah the joys of having a toddler in the house. When Dean isn't acting like a toddler, he is actually a very sweet, kind, loving and very funny little kid. I can't wait until he starts really talking so I can hear all the funny things he has to say. At this point in life Dean loves Cars (the movie) and anything that has to do with it. He just recently got a lot of Cars paraphernalia for his birthday and is just having a hey day with all of his loot. He also loves making car noises and growling like a monster. He loves to jump and swing and really likes to get his groove on to music with a beat. He loves to play with his dad and absolutely loves cousin time with both sides of the family. He also loves books and when we sit and read as a family.
Evan is our newest addition to the family, 4 1/2 months old, born June 10 and he is just a pure joy. He only cries when he needs something; food, sleep, attention. He has a beautiful smile and does the cutest thing when he smiles, he always puts his head down like he is bashfully smiling, Adorable. He is getting much better at sleeping at night so that's been a blessing. He can now roll over, but he doesn't like it very much because it is hard for him to hold his big noggin up ;). He is growing like a weed and can now fit into his 6-9 month clothing and he isn't even 5 months old yet! He loves to cuddle, grab things, suck on his hands, and loves it when people talk to him. He just a very chill very happy baby and we are so glad he blessed us with his presence and can't wait to watch him grow.
Now you know a little about our family and I'm excited that I started this so that we can keep up on all of our adventures. More to come soon!
